With this title, a small section of the phenomenon known as Hollywood at War reached its absolute zenith. Servicemen (assisted by squads of civilian press agents) have been given to choosing Hollywood actresses as their favorites, but titles such as these are a high-powered new development. Examples shown here are typical. Many have the distinctive character of the men who confer them. A paratroopers' unit chose Hedy Lamarr "The Girl We'd Like Most to Jump in a Double Parachute Harness With." Submariners say that they would like to submerge with Anne Shirley or Paulette Goddard.
